Meridian Featured in Composites Technology

In the June 2008 issue of Composites Technology Magazine, Meridian Automotive’s innovative hideaway composite trunk divider panel is featured in an article titled “Engineering Insights: Hybrid Composite Panel Unlocks Hidden Value.” The article details Meridian’s answer to the engineering challenge posed by the Nissan Sentra design and engineering team, the resulting product integrates a structural sheet molding compound (SMC) inner panel with a natural fiber-reinforced thermoplastic outer panel to create a useful and cost efficient solution.  The complete article is available here.
