JUVENILE DIABETES RESEARCH FOUNDATION WINTER
FUNDRAISING EVENT - FEBRUARY 19, 2008

Meridian has a proud history of supporting charitable causes, particularly for children, in communities in which we live and work. One such event recently occured in Redford, Michigan, at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) winter bowling fund-raiser sponsored by Ford Purchasing. The Meridian sponsored team achieved a first place finish in the 2008 event.

This winning team, consisting of Bill Hoffman - Meridian Sales, John Stedman - Meridian Quality, David Holmes - Meridian Sales, and Dave O'Callaghan - Ford STA, has been together since the bowling event began in 2006. The squad had always loomed close to the top spot, finishing fourth in 2006, and third in 2007. Great fun was had by all participants, and JDRF was the biggest winner of all, with over $20,000.00 being raised for the cause.
