Meridian Earns Club Car Award

April 18, 2008 – Meridian’s Salisbury, NC Plant was presented Club Car’s “2007 Outstanding Quality Performance Award” at an onsite ceremony.

Meridian produces the composite molded---compression molded----long glass fiber reinforced front and rear underbodies for Club Car’s Precedent model.  These large molded components serve as both structural and aesthetic components to the vehicle construction.

“Our relationship with Meridian has been marked by consistent quality of product, services, and value to Club Car" according to Phil Gaffney, Vice President, Sourcing for Club Car.  As further stated by Gaffney, "for one of Club Car's supply chain members to earn the Performance Award for Quality speaks loudly of the quality of Meridian Automotive's people and manufacturing practices.  We salute and applaud each and every Meridian Automotive associate involved in the production of these major emphasis components for Club Car's Precedent golf vehicles---from buying/scheduling of the raw materials, manufacturing planning, molding/operations associates, packaging and shipment of the many daily truck loads to Club Car, to the quality of invoice accuracies by the accounting/finance associates."
