Steve McKenzie’s extensive career of over 30+ years consists of numerous global manufacturing and operational experiences transcending several automotive products lines and components. 

Aside from his current role as Executive Vice President & COO of Meridian Automotive Systems, Inc., Steve also held the role of President, Exterior Composites Group for Meridian.

Prior to joining Meridian, Steve served as General Manager, Mexican Operations at Siemens where he had senior oversight responsibility for the Volkswagen Beatle program launch. 

Preceding Siemens, Steve performed several senior operational positions with Alcoa Fujikura Ltd., specializing in offshore manufacturing, culminating in the role of Director, Emerging Markets where he was responsible for (11) manufacturing operations spanning (4) continents.

Steve began his career at ITT Automotive’s Electrical Products Division.

Throughout his career, Steve has served as a leader in several prominent industry organizations as well:

• Chairman of the Automotive Composites Alliance (2003-6) 
• BOD Member, American Composites Manufactures Association (2005-7)
• Representative for the State of Coahuila (Mexico) Maquiladora Association (1984)

Steve holds a degree from Southwest Texas JC and a MBA from Knightsbridge University (UK).
